A holiday park clubhouse could lose its licence after it was caught selling alcohol against coronavirus rules.

Licensing officers raided the Saddlebrook clubhouse at Saddlebrook Park, Warden Bay, Leysdown, on the Isle of Sheppey and discovered a group of people inside drinking alcohol which had been bought at the club.

The club will now be the subject of a full premises review hearing which could end up closing it down.

Officers first visited the premises on Friday, February 26 and found it was breaking the Covid-19 regulations.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "CCTV enquiries also showed that continuous breaches of this nature have taken place over a number of weeks."
