A man has been arrested after two knives were found following a police chase in Sheerness High Street.

Officers from the Swale Community Policing Team tried to speak with a man seen walking in the High Street just before 3pm on Wednesday.

But the man is reported to have run from the officers, and two knives are thought to have been thrown from his possession while they ran after him.
