A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital after a collision on the A249 on the Isle of Sheppey just after 1.30pm today (Saturday).

The woman had to be freed from a vehicle by fire fighters after the incident.

No other vehicles were involved.

One lane of the road was closed, the Sheppey Crossing was not affected.
