A man arrested after allegedly crashing a van in High Street, Sheerness, has been released on police bail.

The incident happened in Sheerness town centre just before 6pm on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old was arrested for failing to stop, driving while unfit, and resisting arrest.

He was detained in Maidstone and released today (Thursday) on police bail until Sunday, November 30.
