Man given oxygen therapy after fire in Warden, Sheerness

A man was treated for breathing in smoke after a fire at a garage in Sheerness.

Fire crews were called to the home in Emerald View, Warden at just after 7.30pm last night.

Firefighters tackled the blaze involving a car with two hose reels and water from a hydrant.

One man was given oxygen therapy and passed on to ambulance staff.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
