Police hunt Frederick Edwards and John Murch after they escaped from Standford Hill in Sheppey

Two escaped prisoners are on the run from a Sheppey jail.

Frederick Edwards, 44, and John Murch, 52, have both separately been missing since August 31, but police have just released an appeal.

Edwards is originally from Thames Valley and described as white, 5ft 9ins, slim with dark hair. He has connections with East Sussex and the Thames Valley.

Murch is from Liverpool and is said to be white, of medium build, 6ft and balding. He has connections to the Liverpool, Hammersmith and Fulham areas.

Both went missing from HMP Standford Hill in Eastchurch on August 31, but they're not believed to be together.
