AN ARMED robber made off with a bag full of money after an early morning raid on McDonalds.
The man, described as white, stocky, unshaven and wearing white trainers and dark trousers, brandished a large knife in front of staff at the restaurant in Bridge Road, Sheerness.
He was carrying a dark black or green hold-all bag which he filled mostly with coins and a few notes before making his escape on foot.
The raid took place at 7.25am on Good Friday, shortly after the restaurant had opened.
A McDonalds spokesperson said none of its staff were hurt in the raid and police are appealing for witnesses to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
