More than £1,000 raised at end of term fete

St Edwards School has finished the end of term with a school fete.

It was held at the school in New Road, Sheerness, on the Saturday before the end of term.

There were lots of attractions for children and parents to enjoy, including a coconut shy, face painting, a bouncy castle and a 'Play Your Cards Right’ game.

The fete was organised by members of staff, and all the children attended.

AS well as all the other activities, there was also a barbecue and the day raised £1,259 for various school funds.

Rachel Henry, head of pastoral care, said: “I would like to thank the parents who helped and everyone who supported us.

“And of course the children and their families for coming along.”
