One hot bun proved a little too fruity after it was spotted with a shocking message.

A baked roll bearing an explicit message was found for sale in a Sheerness Tesco stand, photographed and posted on Twitter – it read ‘I want your sex’.

Perhaps the bawdy baker was hoping to get a rise out of it from customers, but the tasteless treat put one shocked woman “right off my teacakes!”.

A Tesco spokesman said: “One of our colleagues was a little too creative in the bakery on their last day in store.

“This item was not intended for sale and we are sorry for any offence caused.”

It was found in the Bridge Road store on Tuesday, May 2.
