Rainham Eagles took the honours in Co-op Sports’ inaugural under-13 tournament on Sunday.

Sports invited teams from Range Rovers, Omega 92 and Rainham Eagles to the tournament and a penalty shoot-out decided the winners.

Co-op (pictured left celebrating with goal-scorer Kingsley Dume) got off to a winning start with a 6-0 win over Range Rovers and they then beat Omega 92 4-2 before losing their final game against the Eagles 2-0.

Omega 92 recorded the biggest win of the day as they thrashed Range Rovers 12-0.

With Omega 92, Rainham Eagles and Co-op all finishing level with two wins apiece the tournament went down to a deciding penalty shoot-out and the Eagles emerged victorious.
