Police cordoned off part of a car park today after a suitcase was found abandoned.

The green luggage was discovered in one of the parking bays next to a white van in Trinity Road car park, Sheerness, on Sheppey.

A PCSO stopped pedestrians from walking near it until a squad car arrived and another officer bundled it into the back seat.
