Police investigate stabbing

Police have confirmed that a person was stabbed in Sheerness on Saturday.

It happened in Pigeon Park on Trinity Road.

Witnesses saw helicopters circling and the area was taped off until around 8.30pm.

A police spokesman said: "The investigation is still ongoing.

"I can confirm that someone has been stabbed."
