Police respond to concerns for resident's welfare in Lapwing Close, Minster

A man has been taken away for medical treatment after police were sent to a Sheppey street early today.

Officers were called at 2.21am to reports of concern for the welfare of a man in Lapwing Close, Minster.

It is understood several police vehicles, include riot vans, were spotted in the street.

At 8am, the man was taken into custody before being transferred to hospital.
