Travel misery continues with another Maidstone-bound A249 accident

Drivers faced more delays on the Maidstone-bound A249 after a five-vehicle crash.

Emergency services went to the scene of the accident, between the Key Street and Bobbing roundabouts, at just before 1pm.

Five people, including a child, were treated by paramedics for shock and minor injuries.

Fire crews also helped with clearing the road - leaving the scene at 1.45pm.

The accident was the second on the same stretch of road today following another incident just past the Stockbury roundabout.
