A busy road was closed in both directions due to an overturned car.

Police and fire crews were called to Queenborough Road, near Neats Court Retail Park in Queenborough, just before 3.30pm this afternoon.

It is believed a car overturned between Holmside Avenue and Belgrave Road.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews were called at 3.26pm today to assist police following reports of a crash.

“One fire engine attended and crews helped with scene safety.”

Police also confirmed they were called at 3.19pm.

A spokesman said: “Officers were called to a report of a collision involving a car driver in Queenborough Road, Minister. No injuries are reported. A road closure was in place while the incident is attended to.”

The route has now reopened.
