A frantic owner has appealed for help in finding his missing pet barn owl which flew off and may not be able to survive in the wild.

Oola flew off from her owner Steve Anderson, who runs an owl and hawk experience, and was last seen in the Wards Hill area of Minster, Sheppey.

Mr Anderson's brother Dave said: "While getting his barn owl from its box this afternoon it slipped his fingers and flew off in the Wards Hill area.

Lost: Oola the pet barn owl missing at Minster, Sheppey (2654304)

"She won't survive too long in the wild so it would be great if you could ask your readers to share this with their friends."

If spotted, call Steve or Michelle on 01795 427642.
