The counting of votes is finished and the wait is nearly over to discover the winner of this year's Times Guardian Cute Kids' competition.

In total we received 3,321 votes - almost 800 more than last year's tally.

This year, we introduced text voting so that friends and relatives all around the world could vote as well.

The winner and two runners-up will be announced in this coming week's paper.
