A fund set up to help a boy with cancer has had a boost of thousands of pounds.

Fashion chain New Look is supporting the Oliver Smith Appeal and Kent stores are fundraising for the five-year-old.

Oliver’s family are raising money for the £500,000 treatment he could need abroad if his condition worsens.

There was another boost for the Halfway Houses Primary School pupil from a car club.

Performance UK members held a raffle at Little Groves Holiday Park, Leysdown, on Sunday and raised £161 for him.

Mum Natalie, of Coral Road, Minster, said: “The car show was really good fun.

"I'd like to thank everyone who has donated money."
