A suspected burglar has been charged after two properties were targeted.

Darren Baldock is reported to have stolen electrical items and cash from the properties in Leysdown Road, Leysdown, between Wednesday and Friday last week.

He is also said to have stolen a Ford Transit, which had been parked nearby.

The 50-year-old, from Woolwich, was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

At the hearing, he was further remanded and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, August 5.
