A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash in Minster last night.

Police were called to Queens Road, Minster, just before 9.30pm after two vehicles were involved in a collision.

It is believed a black Volkswagen Golf hit a car parked outside the Co-Op and flipped over on its roof.

It is not clear if anyone was injured, but a 48-year-old woman was arrested and is still in custody.

One witness said the driver was "badly shaken" and the parked car, which is thought to have belonged to a staff member at the shop, was a "total write-off".
