A 19-year-old man was remanded in custody when he appeared before magistrates charged with cultivating cannabis.

Ngoc-Chung Pham, originally from Vietnam, was charged after police executed a warrant at an address in Marine Parade, Sheerness, on Wednesday.

He appeared before Sittingbourne magistrates on Thursday and will next appear on January 31.
