A Kent youngster has been nominated for a national award for his role in EastEnders.

Bleu Landau, from the Isle of Sheppey, is best known for his portrayal of Dennis Rickman junior in the famous soap.

The 12-year-old is one of eight stars vying for the title of Best Young Actor at this year’s Inside Soap Awards which recognise the top talent from our favourite television shows.

Bleu’s name appears alongside household soap stars including Danny Dyer, Jake Wood, Kym Marsh and Catherine Tyldesley as Inside Soap gears up for its annual awards ceremony.

He has also starred on the big screen when he made an appearance in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Voting for the awards closes on Monday, October 2, and the awards will take place later this year.
