Appeal for witnesses following pizza robbery

A delivery driver had a knife pulled on him when he took a pizza to a Sittingbourne address.

The 27-year-old was delivering the food to a home in Harkness Court just before 1am on Saturday, March 5, when he was approached by six men all aged between 18 and 23.

He turned to walk back towards his van one of the men produced a knife. He then dropped the food and ran.

The man carrying the knife was wearing a green hoody. Another offender was dark-skinned with scratches on his face.

Investigating officer DC Brigitte Collard said: "The men grabbed the food and ran off through Harkness Court.

"Although the delivery driver wasn’t hurt this was a frightening ordeal and we are keen to catch the offenders. We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time."
