Four arrested as police seize van full of 'stolen goods' on M2

Police have made four arrests following reports of a commercial burglary in Sittingbourne.

Two vehicles were stopped by Kent Police's Roads Policing Unit on the M2 in the early hours of this morning where officers seized two vehicles.

A van full of allegedly stolen goods was also recovered from the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 5.24am on Sunday to a report of a burglary at a commercial premise in Bonham Drive, Sittingbourne.

"Officers attended and located two vehicles which were followed to the M2 where they were stopped. Four men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody at this time."
