CCTV images have been released of two women police would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a bank card.

It’s believed the card was taken from the handbag of pensioner as she shopped in Sittingbourne between noon and 5pm on April 3.

The victim, from Sheerness, later discovered it had been used to buy goods worth £700.

To date officers leading the investigation have been unsuccessful in finding the people pictured. It’s hoped that by putting the images in the public domain someone will come forward with information regarding their identity or the theft.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Swale neighbourhood policing team by calling the non-emergency 101, quoting crime reference XY/10676/12. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
