Police appeal after biker seriously injured following crash with car in Doddington, near Sittingbourne

Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious crash in the village of Doddington, near Sittingbourne.

A car and a motorbike have been involved in an accident on The Street, between the junctions of Church Hill and Chequers Hill.

It happened just before 7.20am.

The motorcyclist is being treated for serious injuries.

Road closures are in place whilst emergency services deal with the incident.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time due to the road closures.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting the reference 11-189.
