Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house.

Officers were called to Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne, at 7.40pm last night where the black Mini Cooper had hit the property.

Police said no injuries were reported. However, the house is said to have sustained some damage, which has been assessed by a structural engineer.

A police spokesman added: “The vehicle has been seized.

“Officers are conducting inquiries to establish the full circumstances.”

The area was cleared at about 10.20pm.
