CCTV image released of man after rail staff spat at in Sittingbourne train station

Transport officers are investigating after a man climbed a train station fence and spat at staff.

They have now released a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak to in connection to the incident in Sittingbourne.

On September 30, at around 3.30pm, a man climbed a fence onto the platform at the train station to avoid the ticket barriers.

Rail staff approached him and escorted him outside but as he passed through the booking hall he turned and spat at one of the staff members before leaving.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
