Police helicopter called to West Lane, Sittingbourne, following break-in reports

The Kent and Essex police helicopter was launched last night to reports of two suspicious men in Sittingbourne.

The police helicopter, which covers Kent and Essex.

It followed a call from a member of the public about a suspected break-in the West Lane area.

The helicopter was called at about 10pm to assist officers on the ground search for the men.

No arrests were made and it is not thought any offences were committed in connection with the suspected break-in.

The chopper was heard over Sheppey. It is believed this was as it made its way back to base in Essex.
