Swale residents eligible for Covid-19 boosters can now get jabbed on a bus.

Walk-in clinics are being held in a converted hire van parked in front of Kemsley village hall near Sittingbourne. Staff will be there until Saturday, October 22.

The bus-based clinic will be in The Square, Ridham Avenue, five days a week, Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10am to 4pm.

A spokeswoman for the recently launched NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board said: "There is no need to book. Just walk in, fill in a form and join the queue. People can wait in the village hall before their vaccination."

Be sure not to turn up expecting an injection on Friday, October 28, though. The hall is hosting the return of wrestling at 7.30pm featuring Kent-based Sid Manelli and Harry Potter star Mark Sealey aka Little Legs.

Covid-19 vaccination appointments can be booked at chemists at Grovehurst, Green Street Pharmacy Teynham and Well Pharmacy in East Street, Sittingbourne by using the national NHS website.
