Youngsters really 'egg-celled’ themselves when it came to creating Easter-related goodies.

Pupils at South Avenue School made some cracking sceneries using hard boiled eggs. Their creations included the boy band JLS as well as a beach scene.

Meanwhile pupils at Regis Manor Primary School, in Middletune Avenue, and Murston Infant School, in Church Road, showed their creative side by making Easter bonnets.

They included traditional bonnets featuring yellow chicks and Easter eggs and the slightly unusual such as a feather creation and a floral arrangement.
