Fire crews sent to rubbish fires in Diligent Drive, Milton, and Raspberry Hill Lane, Iwade, near Sittingbourne

Fire crews have been sent to put out rubbish fires.

One fire engine was called to a blaze in a wooded area near Diligent Drive, Milton, near Sittingbourne, at about 10.15am.

Emergency workers spent about 20 minutes extinguishing it.

It is not known what it was caused by.

Yesterday a crew was sent to a bonfire of wood and plastic in Raspberry Hill Lane, Iwade, at about 6.30pm.

They left about an hour later as it was under control.
