Emergency at Teynham train station

A person has been hit by a train at Teynham Railway station.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.30pm.
Southeastern confirmed the incident, but the condition of the person remains unknown.
All trains passing through the station were stopped and high speed services were diverted via Ashford.
Southeastern later said: "Trains are now on the move, but cannot currently stop at Teynham.
"There are likely to be delays for the rest of the evening, with replacement buses running between Gillingham, Sittingbourne and Faversham to assist with your journey."
