A man suffered neck and spinal injuries after being involved in a crash in Sittingbourne.

Firefighters were called to Crown Quay Lane last night and used hydraulic rescue equipment to gain access to people trapped inside the two vehicles involved.

A young female driver and a male passenger were freed and assessed by paramedics.
