ABOUT 60 tons of stored scrap metal caught fire last night at Ridham Dock near Sittingbourne.

It broke out just after 7pm and fire crews were still there in the early hours. Firefighters from Sittingbourne, Queenborough, Sheerness, Faversham and a water tender from Larkfield attended.
