M2 crash: Emergency services deal with four-vehicle collision on motorway

Emergency services have been dealing with a four-vehicle crash that temporarily closed the M2.

Police and ambulance crews have been at the scene of the collision, between Junction 5 at Sittingbourne , and Junction 6 at Faversham.

Police were called to the scene just after 1.40pm, and the eastbound carriageway was closed between junctions 5 and 6 while the incident was dealt with.

There were initial delays when the road reopened at 2.15pm, but traffic is now thought to have cleared.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
