Fitness trainers were made to run, jump and hop to it during a charity boot camp in Sittingbourne.

Ten people took part in the rigorous, one-hour exercise at UKP Leisure in Gore Court Road.

It was in aid of Sittingbourne mum-of-two, Aimee Willett, who’s been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

A total of £120 was raised from the weekend’s breathless endeavour, which will go towards helping her complete a bucket list of wishes she wants to fulfil while she’s well enough. Charlotte Shaw, 33, of Tunstall who runs Top to Toe Fitness in Bredgar, organised the boot camp.

She said: “I read about Aimee, and thought as a young woman and mum myself, I should do something to help.

“We had donations from people who didn’t take part in the exercise, which was nice.

“We also had a lot of spectators.”
