The first phase of a multi-million pound regeneration project has been officially launched.

Princes Street Retail Park brings three new retailers to Sittingbourne as part of the £57 million revamp, including a Costa Coffee Drive Thru, an Iceland food warehouse, and a Home Bargains store.

The project will also include a hotel and an eight-screen cinema and is expected to attract up to 400,000 visitors to the town a year.

But, as work gathers pace, it has been causing traffic chaos and disruption to major bus routes.

This has led some locals to question what impact it will have on businesses in the High Street.
