Search called off in Sittingbourne and Medway for missing 15-year-old girl

Police say missing teenage girl Leah Hazelton has been found safe and well.

The 15-year-old was last seen around 1pm yesterday (Saturday).

Officers believed she was in Swale or Medway and asked the public to keep a lookout for her.

But at 11.40 this morning a police spokesman confirmed the search was off.

She said: "Leah has been found safe and well. Thanks for all the re-tweets."

Leah was last seen in Borden Lane, Sittingbourne, wearing a black hooded top, blue ripped jeans and white trainers.

Last night officers searching for a missing man after an “incident” at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital in Bell Road on Friday at 11am reported he had been found safe and well.
