Police issue efit of man after sex attack on dog walker in Sittingbourne

Efit of man police want to speak to after sex assault

This is the man police would like to speak to after a sex assault in Sittingbourne.

Officers have released this image after the attack at the Great Hall Estate at Meeres Court Lane, at around 6.15pm on Friday, June 14.

A 42-year-old woman was walking her dog when she noticed a man walk past her. As she carried on she was then pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as white, 45 to 55 years old and around 6ft tall.

He was of medium build, had ‘a big belly’ and mousey brown, receding hair.

He was said to have a musty odour and a black thumbnail, and wore a white short-sleeved T-shirt, blue tracksuit bottoms with a stripe.

Det Sgt Darryll Paulson, who is investigating the incident, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to identify the man in the image as we would like to interview him in connection with this incident.

"I would ask local people to use their social media accounts to retweet and share the Kent Police appeal."
