Litter Angels and residents held a litter pick in Kemsley to make it a cleaner place to live

A swingball bat, pieces of glass, drink cans and two empty medicine bottles were among the items found during a litter pick in Kemsley

Between them, six adults and four children managed to fill 15 black sacks with rubbish as they walked around the area.

Their route took them along Ridham Avenue and back up Coldharbour Lane taking in East Green and West Green.

Afterwards, everyone went back to AmicusHorizon New House in Coldharbour Lane for tea and biscuits.
