All lanes have reopened after a lorry and a car collided on the London-bound M2 between junction 6 and 5.

Police were called to the incident just after 8am and officers closed part of the road while they recovered a Ford Fiesta.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured but the car has been seriously damaged.

Police stopped the car last week

The lorry was able to drive away from the scene.

A police spokesman said: "Officers were called at 8.05am following a collision on the London-bound carriageway of the M2.
