New appeal after handbag snatch

POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a robbery in which a 78-year-old woman lost her handbag.

The incident at Mill Way, Sittingbourne, happened at about 1.30pm on Sunday, October 24, when the woman was pushed over and robbed as she walked with her daughter. The handbag contained just £10.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 19 and 20, of slim build with cropped brown hair. He wore black tracksuit bottoms.
