Police release images after owl allegedly killed by suspects using catapults, in Upchurch

Police are investigating after fears an owl was killed by catapults.

Kent Police’s Rural Task Force is looking into the death of a tawny owl in Upchurch.

Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to after an owl was allegedly killed using catapults

The incident happened in October but now officers have recovered images of two men they would like to speak to.

Sgt Darren Walshaw said: "We suspect an owl was killed using catapults and are now issuing photographs of two people who may be able to assist with our inquiries.

"Anybody who recognises one or both of them is urged to contact our appeal line."
