A man who watched live streams of children being abused online has been caged.

John Hutchinson, 46, of The Street in Bapchild, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images and trying to arrange a child sex offence, at Maidstone Crown Court.

He was jailed for three years.

Detective sergeant David Shipley, from Kent Police, said: "This sentencing shows that Kent Police works hard, with partner organisations, to target offenders who are using the internet to exploit young children.

"The victims for this particular case were not children from the UK but this does not make the offending any less serious.

"Hutchinson’s interests make him a very real danger to society and I welcome the sentence that has been imposed."
