POLICE are appealing to the public for help to find a silver Ford Fiesta, registration number V736KKL, which was stolen in a burglary.

The burglary happened at Chalkwell Road, Sittingbourne, between 8pm on December 29, and 3pm on January 1.

Det Con Keith Fraise, who is heading the inquiry, said: "We think the car may be parked somewhere in the Swale area and would ask residents to keep their eyes open and contact us if they spot it."

If anyone can help police with this inquiry please contact Criminal Investigation Department at Sittingbourne on 01795 477055.

* A 31-year-old man, of no fixed home, was arrested on Wednesday in Albany Park, Sittingbourne, on suspicion of burglary. He is currently in police custody.
