When he spoke to the suspects they punched him in the face multiple times, causing him to fall to the floor as they fled.

On Thursday, police released CCTV images of two individuals they would like to speak with in connection to the attack, which happened on Saturday, June 17, at around 5pm.

On Friday, a force spokesman said: “Officers are no longer appealing for information in order to identify the two people in the CCTV images.”

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
