ALCOHOL was confiscated from a group of nine underage drinkers in a Kent churchyard.
The youngsters were caught in Bell Road churchyard, Sittingbourne, on Friday night after ongoing reports of criminal damage to cemeteries in the town.
Sgt Darren Ryder said: "Churchyards are a place of remembrance and reflection and people should not be faced with litter and damage when tending to the grave of a loved one."
