Prison dogs from Belmarsh, Teynham firefighters and a magician named Chris were among the attractions of a school’s summer fete.
More than 500 adults joined dozens of children for Iwade Community Primary School’s summer fete which took more than £3,000 for school projects and equipment.
Claire Bird, secretary of the school’s friends’ group, said: “It was a great afternoon, helped by some brilliant weather.
“The excellent demonstration by the Belmarsh dogs was very popular and really drew a big crowd.
“Teynham’s retained crew brought their fire engine, while the local police showed how they take fingerprints.”
