The 90th anniversary party of the Royal British Legion was a fitting tribute to the organisation that has looked after the welfare of generations of armed forces’ personnel and their families.

More than 200 people joined the celebrations at the UK Paper Leisure Club in the Avenue of Remembrance on Sunday.

Army, Navy and airforce cadets, together with Brownies, Guides, Cubs and Scouts filled the venue and they were joined by Mayor of Swale, Cllr Ben Stokes.

He thanked the UK Paper Leisure Club for supporting the event by offering the hall and supplying refreshments.
